Who I am and how I made it to the top.

Meet FaZe sho

I announced my new organization over a tweet published at 10AM today — and to nobody’s surprise, it has picked up a lot of attention in the community and likewise a lot of interactions coming in the form of congratulations, retweets, and so much more.

My works have finally been recognized, and I would like to thank my friends and peers for supporting me throughout this journey. I have put in immense efforts and I am happy that my work finally paid off.

This is a brief story of my rise and how I did it. The story of FaZe Clan’s youngest Content Writer, Hisham “sho” Almadani.

I am sho (alternately sho1wnl) and I am a writer. I report on all kinds of esports, covering many titles and topics. Additionally, I am a shitposter on twitter, I like to quote retweet people and totally flame them! In my spare time, I attend school.

As well as being in the journalistic side of esports, I am also an improving Rocket League player, recently winning a platinum rank Psyonix schedule 3v3 Rumble tournament, where I ranked 1st overall amongst all participants.

There’s not much else to it, I’m your average guy, just a lot more dedicated than you are. Here’s a couple tips:

Always look behind

Checking your flank, in gamer terms. That’s my number one mantra. You have to keep an eye behind you at all times. I always look back at where I started, it has helped me to reflect on myself and pride myself in the improvements that I made, but I also always kept an eye directly behind me. That’s how I stayed on top of my game and ahead of the pack.

I mean seriously, why do you think I was chosen by a top tier party org?

I always looked at others and kept them on my rear-end. They were never better than me because I knew what they did and how they did. There is absolutely no shame in learning from others, even those whom you are superior to. I did that, I studied them, I copied them, I mastered and perfected their own work and made their specialty my own, and that’s how I stood out of the crowd and outshined everyone else. A master plan finished off a master execution.

“If you don’t look in the mirror everyday and go WidePeepoHappy, then you haven’t gave it your all” — sho

Regardless of whether you hit crazy milestones like me, if you put in maximum effort, then you will always be happy with yourself, which leads me to my second point

Self Satisfaction

To give positive work, you must have positive energy. If you are not satisfied with yourself then you haven’t played to your potential. I always made sure my path was direct and clear. I busted all of the obstacles in my way and everything that I completed was a pure and sincere step forward to greatness. Every second, every word, and every keyboard key I clicked was done with honesty and was a major contributor to my success today. You’re not a writer, that’s not a problem. A lot of you reading this are aspiring pro players. Every head you click off, and every God forsaken strat you scream into your God awful solo que team, all of that is honest work. You are unintentionally and unknowingly walking your path, and though it may be foggy up ahead, your power is your willingness. You don’t stop, you wake up everyday with the sole purpose to win, to be happy with who you are.

Now then, the rest is yours. It’s your book to write and your path to walk.

Besides my 100% success rate advice that I offered to all of my readers at the cost of a click, there’s one main thing that got me in FaZe Clan.

I liked their tweet. Yes, really.

FaZe Clan’s twitter social media manager made the awful mistake of publishing the below tweet

And that’s how I, along with 50,000 others (at the time of writing), have joined FaZe Clan.

Remember Faze 5? Yeah, scrap that. This is Faze 5,000. Multiplied by 10.

Atlanta FaZe, FaZe Clan’s Call of Duty team won the 2021 CDL Championship last Sunday, beating out Toronto Ultra 5–3 in a heated series. Hence, due to the tweet made, FaZe Clan has offered a public contract which applies to the 50,000 people (and counting) that liked the original tweet. It’s a day long contract that runs from August 27th 10AM EST till August 28th 10AM EST.

FaZe Clan’s day long contract

Of course, I wouldn’t miss out on this opportunity, so I took the offer the next morning and signed with the organization.

Signed digital contract

Since there are no rules on what you can and can’t be, I have given myself the freedom to be the organization’s first ever Content Writer, and I’m proud of this as my first piece apart of them! I would like to thank their social media team for this opportunity and I hope to bring more positivity to FaZe.
